課程學會組裝和編程來控制mBot機械人，編寫事件驅動程式，學會基本的編程概念(條件語句、運算等)，使用感應器(巡線感應器、超聲波感應器、光線感應器等) 和不同形狀的藍膠件改裝mBot機械人，從而學習不同的機械原理。
初階段包括基本的元件，設計應用程式的用戶介面，編寫元件的事件驅動程式和修改元件的屬性，基本的編程概念(條件語句、運用變數等)，使用繪圖元件和不同的多媒體元件。
